Wappanucket Cemetery is a private cemetery managed by the Wappanucket Cemetery Association.

NOTE: The sign, engraved with 1 P, is wrong. It is our hope to one day assist in replacing this sign.

The Wappanucket Cemetery is located on the south side and across the street from the Vaughan Cemetery. It is the younger of the two cemeteries.

Thomas Weston, in his book "History of the town of Middleboro, Massachusetts", in the chapter "Cemeteries", wrote: Waupanucket Cemetery is situated on both sides of Vaughan Street, and it has been used for more than fifty years.". Note his spelling of the name of the cemetery. He was mistaken about the cemetery being on both site of the street.
