MACRIS Mid.802
The Vaughan Cemetery is located on the north side and across the street from the Wappanucket Cemetery. Vaughan is the older of the two cemeteries.

Thomas Weston, in his book "History of the town of Middleboro, Massachusetts", in the chapter "Cemeteries", wrote: Waupanucket Cemetery is situated on both sides of Vaughan Street, and it has been used for more than fifty years.".  He was mistaken about Vaughan Cemetery being a part of Wappanucket Cemetery.
