As a charity, we will always be dependent upon our Volunteers and our Contributors. We provide assistance to the 33 cemeteries in our community. Despite appearances, and any story to the contrary, every cemetery needs the help and support that this charity can provide. Please help us help them.
The need for help with our cemeteries was never more obvious as when this group formed. We acted, and our actions were embraced by all who have seen our work. We are dedicated to continue helping. Some of Middleborough's cemeteries once appeared to be abandoned. People visit cemeteries and have reasonable expectations. Grass should be mowed. Stones should be standing. Trees should not endanger headstones. This is how we honor whose who are buried within our cemeteries. Cemeteries will always have needs, and our primary purpose is to preserve, maintain, and restore the cemeteries. Become a Volunteer or a Contributor of the FoMC. Enable our cemeteries to reflect the character of the people of Middleborough today.
