The Friends of Middleborough Cemeteries, Inc. was founded by Rhonda Roberts back in 2010. Rhonda is a resident of West Bridgewater with a passion for cemeteries. Rhonda organized a cleanup of the Tack Factory Cemetery during the summer of 2010 and soon afterwards began organizing the Friends of Middleborough Cemeteries. The initial members organized during the fall and winter and chose to become a non-profit corporation with the mission of assisting the burial grounds of Middleborough. At our May 12, 2011 meeting, our Article of Incorporation and our Bylaws were adopted. For Massachusetts, the Secretary of the Commonwealth approved our Articles of Organization on May 27, 2011 and the Attorney General issues us our Certificate of Solicitation annually.
