Site visit to the Pauper Cemetery and Infirmary Cemetery

Completed - on Saturday, May 21, 2010 at 9am - 5 members visited these two sites. At the Pauper Cemetery, which is on the same side of the railroad tracks as Ocean Spray, we found many markers. Finding most of the markers required clearing away briars, branches, roots, and soil, but they were spaced evenly apart. The markers themselves were cement squares with metal numbers for identification. At the Infirmary Cemetery, we found nothing. Supposedly there are metal markers here, possibly one to two inches below the soil.
