From the Bylaws, Second Revision April 17, 2014:
Article V, Section 4 Treasurer The Treasurer, or someone serving in the absence of the Treasurer, shall also, subject to the direction and control of the Board of Directors, have general charge of the financial affairs of the corporation and shall keep full and accurate books of account. The Treasurer shall maintain custody of all funds, securities, and valuable documents of the corporation, except as the Board of Directors may otherwise provide. The Treasurer shall have such other powers and duties as are usually incident to that office and as may be vested in that office by these Bylaws or as the Board of Directors may designate for such office from time to time. We have three (3) Specialty Funds D/2 Biological Solution Fund, Nemasket Hill Chapel Fund, Nemasket Hill Road Repair Fund We have nine (9) Cemetery Association Funds Cemetery at The Green Fund, Central Cemetery Fund, Nemasket Hill Cemetery Fund, Purchade Cemetery Fund, Rock Cemetery Fund, Saint Mary's Cemetery Fund South Middleboro Cemetery Fund, Titicut Parish Cemetery Fund, Wappanucket Cemetery Fund *Thomastown Cemetery Fund - They have specifically requested that we not receive donations. We have fourteen (14) Cemetery without Association Funds Alms House Cemetery. Drake Cemetery, “Eaton North” Cemetery, “Eaton South” Cemetery, Fall Brook Cemetery, Gammons Cemetery, Gilbert Peirce Cemetery, Infirmary Cemetery, Reed Cemetery, Soule Street Smallpox Cemetery, Susan Francis Burial Ground, Vaughan Cemetery, Vernon Street Smallpox Cemetery, and Wood Cemetery |
