The Town-entrusted Cemeteries:
Article 16 was adopted by the town at Town Meeting in October 2012. Each year in the Annual Report the amounts of money available to spend on these cemeteries are published (The Association Cemeteries are in the same list).
We need to be aware and respectful of the Middleborough Historical Commission. They are acting as a Cemetery Commission now.
There are 6 town-entrusted cemeteries. Note that the list of cemeteries does not include the 2 town-owned cemeteries. The Halifax Cemetery is unknown to us.
The following list includes the neighbors of the cemeteries and any interested parties.
