Revolutionary War Gravestone Preservation initiative

Picture
The American Revolution began with "the shot heard around the world" in Lexington and Concord on April 19th, 1775. Middleborough was not the site of any battles, but our militia answered the call of Boston and beyond. Massachusetts contributed the most number of soldiers of all the Colonies.
There are 143 Veterans of this war in 15 Middleborough cemeteries.

We would like to honor these Veterans by "Preserving their Gravestones". The FoMC did this for our Civil War Veterans. We have the experience.
